The Journal of Law and Liberty is proud to introduce Judge Douglas H. Ginsburg as the newest member of the JLL Board of Advisors.
Douglas H. Ginsburg is a Judge of the United States Court of Appeals for
the District of Columbia Circuit, to which he was appointed by
President Reagan in 1986 and which he served as Chief Judge from 2001 to
2008. Judge Ginsburg is currently a Professor of Law at New York University School of Law. He is also Visiting Lecturer at the University of Chicago Law
School, and Visiting Professor, University College London, Faculty of
Laws. In particular, Judge Ginsburg is known as an expert in the field of Antitrust.
Judge Ginsburg was previously a Professor at Harvard Law School (1975-83). He served in the Reagan Administration (1983-86) as Administrator, Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs, U.S. Office of Management and Budget; and as Assistant Attorney General in charge of the Antitrust Division of the United States Department of Justice. Judge Ginsburg is a graduate of Cornell University (’70) and of the University of Chicago Law School ('73).
Over the course of his career, Judge Ginsburg has developed a reputation as one of the finest and most respected judges in the country. The JLL is honored to welcome him to our Board of Advisors.
